TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Technological apartments have been built within the Guest House of the Hospital. The flats are highly automated and each single domestic function is controlled via a "touch-screen" monitor.

Simply by touching a screen, the guests of the house can switch on/off the lights, regulate heating and temperature, open or close doors, windows and blinds.

Each inhabitant of the house is equipped with a small remote controller for basic functions, while advanced functions can be activated through the monitor.

In case of need, it is possible to get instantly in touch with the main office. Microphones and cameras are located in all areas of the house.

Technolgy and comfort simplify the use of each function, like the kitchen with inductive cooking or the motorized and remote-controlled blinds.

The Guest House has been visited and inaugurated on 16 February 2010 by the President of Regione Lombardia Roberto Formigoni, highly satisfied with this important achievement.
